Charged Up is the result of the first semester long project in the Games Specialization at Michigan State University. The game is a fast paced action platformer with electricity based powers and attacks. At the start of the project, we determined that the default properties in Unity don't allow for the level of control necessary to finely tune platforming controls, so I set out to create a custom player movement script to allow for more precise player control. I spent most of my time on this project implementing and polishing this system and setting up the player controller. It was hard to get going, but the end results are very satisfying. I also helped implement the full key-remapping system the game features, and worked on the dialog system.
